The Senior Leader Apprenticeship delivers a professional pathway to Chartered Manager or Chartered Fellow status.
It is designed for any individual moving into a senior or strategic management role. This can include General Managers, Senior Managers, Section Leaders, Executives, Directors, COO, CFO, CEO, CIO roles, and senior military officers.

Mission, Values, Organisation
Shape organisational mission, culture, and values. Understand structures, business modelling, diversity, governance, and technological implications. Use horizon scanning for high-performance strategies.
Strategy & Research
Develop new market strategies, analyse changing customer demands, and understand disruptive technologies, innovation, and drivers of change. Undertake research and analyse complex information.
Systems
Apply systems thinking, manage knowledge/data, and lead change with innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement. Understand research methodologies and programme management.
Ethics & Risk
Understand ethics, values-based leadership, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and risk management techniques. Lead and respond in crisis situations using risk management.
Growth & Competition
Understand competitive strategies, decision-making approaches, and use big data for change management. Act as a Sponsor/Ambassador and challenge strategies in terms of ethics and sustainability.
Financial Strategy
Develop financial strategies, evaluate trends, and understand economic theory. Oversee financial strategies, budgets, procurement, and use financial data for resource allocation.
Organisational Structure
Understand organisational/team dynamics, build engagement, and develop high-performance cultures. Drive a culture of resilience, support development, and drive new enterprise opportunities.
